THE WATER THEORY

We invite performers interested in expanding their body practices, whether interacting with the concrete space of the city or the virtual space of video, to participate in this creative process that questions the rigidity of constructions through the fluidity of dance and movement. Six creative workshops will be held, culminating in the presentation of the live installation "TEORIA DA ÁGUA" (WATER THEORY) within the context of the "PEDRAS2025 The Gesture that Love Potentializes" Festival, held by "cem - centro em movimento" (Center in Movement) in public spaces throughout Lisbon. The workshops take place every Friday, between September 12th and October 17th (inclusive), 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Largo do Chafariz on Rua de O Século, Lisbon (Bairro Alto). The installation will take place on Saturday, October 18th, at 10:00 pm. Two evening rehearsals will also be scheduled for lighting and video tests.

Christina Elias is an artist and choreographer. Her work bridges dance and visual arts. Central to her process is the notion of the body as a channel through which diverse languages converge and flow.
